An insight into Villa D’Este, through the eyes of our patrons.
This place has it all. From the moment we walked in they were attentive and friendly without being over-bearing. Service was timed perfectly. They are an incredible team – they just seem to work together perfectly. The food was incredible. I only had pasta – and it was out of this world. My daughter wanted carbonara but it wasn’t on the menu. No problem. She had the best carbonara ever. We will be back – we live in Poole, but will happily make the trip again.
I was here with my family last Tuesday the place was packed ,we were welcomed by smiling members of staff and straight away we felt at home. Food was excellent we ordered everything from specials black linguine and halibut for me no the cheapest dishes but well worth the price. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend
I decided to try somewhere new for a pre-Birthday meal. I love Marlow so was really pleased to discover this gorgeous Italian restaurant. We had a fabulous meal and the kitchen even made me a seafood risotto as a special request. You have to save some space for something from the sweet trolley as this is an absolute must!!! I would like to highly recommend Villa D’Este, lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful food. Cannot wait to return.
Never Let Me Down
Popped in on last tuesday night for an unscheduled meal with my boss. Dining room was packed the atmosphere as usual buzzing. We both had salt and pepper prawns Halibut for me with ginger chilli and tomato my boss had lamb shank from the menu best piece of meat he ever tasted. On our way out we have booked our xmas work do at the villa!
This is a fabulous little restauarnt that has an extensive range of dishes, other than pizza and pasta. As I am on a low carbohydrate diet, I had loads of choices and settled with the Sea Bass with prawns – fabulous! the cougettes were also beautifully cooked. Great sweet trolley! friendly service.
This is an old fashioned Italian in terms of food but modern and attractive in a modern way. Great old style Italian food well presented and very generous portions. Fresh bread and tapenade included. The greatest is the really old fashioned dessert trolley with about a dozen freshly made desserts. Worth visiting for this alone. The staff also were very friendly and very Italian.
Don’t miss it!
I was in this place with my boyfriend, and I must to say that the place is really very nice, the food is delicious and there is a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and courteous, and about the desserts, that are simply delicious…! I highly recommend you to come and to taste, all the goodness that you will find in this place…in one word: excellent…!
